Before the New Year approached I made sure to check out Louis Vuitton’s Volez, Voguez, Voyagez exhibit in NYC, which ran through the first week in January. If there’s anything I live for its Louis Vuitton, my first high high end bag ever. (Sorry guys Coach didn’t count for me.) Yes, good old LV, but what also does it for me is history and craftsmanship. All of the elements is what the Louis Vuitton as brand embodied, from its earliest days going back to 1854.
My girlfriend and I embarked on the tour without a guide which gave us ample time to read, explore and take pictures of everything, literally. We were in awe of how much of the history was put into the LVVVV exhibit, from family/business timelines, the history of their handbags and collections over the decades as well as their extensive traveling items, train cases, luggage, duffles, you name it. For me the exhibit was more of a treat due to the history not just a photo opportunity for Instagram as many have made it. It was a delicious site for true fashion lovers of the brand. Check out some of my favorite flicks from the exhibit below. Enjoy!
